OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE
The position is responsible to ensure the effective implementation of a comprehensive health management system across SMI operation.
This is a regular employment based in Tampakan, South Cotabato.
Key responsibilities:
• Sustainable Development Standard – Support activities to embed sustainable development standards / system/ programs and ensure compliance among members of SMI organization.
• Implementation of effective management health program – Assist in the delivery of an effective health management programs across SMI.
• Compliance Reporting and Communications – Comply with all policies, standards, and legal requirements of the company’s emergency response and preparedness. Ensure prompt reporting and recording of incidents and submission of reports.
• Cost Management Support – Assist the team in ensuring that the expenses incurred is within budget.
Key requirements:
• Registered nurse
• At least 3-year experience in occupational/industrial nursing.
• Computer literate
• Demonstrated experience in providing nursing care in an occupational or industrial setting
• With experience in the mining industry is an advantage.
• Proven track record of handling workplace health issues, conducting health assessments, and implementing health programs.
• Familiarity with the specific health challenges and risks associated with mining operations.
• Proficiency in using healthcare-related software, electronic medical records (EMR) systems, and general office applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage and analyze health data, generate reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Efficient in oral and written communication
• Certified First Aider
• In-depth knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, particularly those relevant to the mining industry.
• Familiarity with risk assessment, hazard identification, and implementation of control measures to prevent occupational illnesses and injuries.
• Competence in conducting health surveillance, monitoring environmental conditions, and advising on preventative measures.
• Work with professional integrity, client service oriented, can work with selfconfidence, and team player.
• Concern for order and quality of work
