This is a project-based opportunity to work in Tampakan, South Cotabato. The role of the Land Access Officer is to provide technical support to obtain access to land and resolving community grievances related to land access.
1. Sustainable Development Practices – Ensures effective use of the project’s safety and environmentally – friendly standards and systems within own area of responsibility to positively contribute in nurturing the organization’s sustainable culture.
2. Stakeholder Engagement – Maintains and sustains stakeholder relationships to ensure that the community support the project and the company can gain land access. The team should capture potential and perceived issues and concerns of stakeholders, pro-actively reporting and addressing them whenever necessary.
3. Technical Support – Provides appropriate technical assistance to the team in continuing stakeholder engagement activities to obtain access to lands.
4. Administrative Support – Provides administrative support in coordination with other departments.
A graduate of bachelor’s degree preferably in Social Sciences
Three (3) years of work experience in dealing with Indigenous Cultural Communities/ Indigenous peoples
Strong negotiation skills
Proficient in operating MS Office applications
Good in oral and written communication skills
