Bringing Essential Health Services Closer: SMI Supports Operation Tuli in Barangay Danlag

Tampakan, South Cotabato— Sagittarius Mines, Inc. (SMI) continued its commitment to supporting community health initiatives by assisting the Operation Tuli conducted in Barangay Danlag, Tampakan on May 22, 2026. The activity was implemented in partnership with the Rural Health Unit (RHU), Sangguniang Kabataan, and the Barangay Council, helping make basic health services more accessible to local residents.

The activity brought together health workers and volunteers who worked hand in hand to provide safe and organized circumcision services for young beneficiaries. Through the strong collaboration of partner institutions and community members, the activity was carried out smoothly and successfully.

Barangay Danlag-assigned nurse Maricel Gregorio, RN expressed her appreciation, saying, “We would like to thank our partner RHU and SMI for their unwavering support and for always prioritizing the health and welfare of the community.”

The successful implementation of the Operation Tuli reflects the value of partnership in delivering responsive and accessible healthcare services at the community level. Through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), SMI continues to work closely with local stakeholders in supporting initiatives that promote health, well-being, and improved quality of life for its host and neighboring communities.
