The Tampakan Copper-Gold Project

The Tampakan Copper-Gold Project is located in the southern island of Mindanao, Philippines, approximately 40 kms. from General Santos City. It contains one of the largest undeveloped copper-gold deposits in the world Once developed, it has the potential to be a key driver of national and regional growth as well as socio-economic development for its host communities.

The estimated potential mineral deposit at the Tampakan Mining site is over 2.5 Billion metric tons.
The Tampakan Mining Project is estimated to pay around ₱70 Billion in taxes and royalties to the local and national government in the first 10 years of operations.

The Tampakan Mining Project is budgeting around ₱2 Billion for community health, livelihood and environmental protection for the duration of the project.

Around 1000 workers are expected to be employed during the Tampakan Mining Project’s construction phase.

The Tampakan Mining Project expects to hire around 500 people during the course of the mine’s operations.
