Kiblawan, Davao Del Sur – Warm smiles and heartfelt gratitude filled Barangay Pasig, Kiblawan, Davao del Sur on May 11, 2026, as Sagittarius Mines, Inc. through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) formally handed over medicines and Buntis Kits to the community.
The barangay warmly welcomed the SMI team, expressing appreciation for the company’s continued support and commitment to the health and well-being of the residents.
The turnover activity served as another meaningful reminder that SMI, through its SDMP initiatives, remains a reliable partner of communities in delivering accessible healthcare and compassionate public service.
Barangay Captain Jeremias D. Ordoña expressed his gratitude during the activity, saying, “Nagpasalamat mi sa SMI kay wala gyud nila kami biyai. Unta magpadayon pa kini nga programa kay dako kaayo ni’g tabang para sa mga taga-Pasig.”
Meanwhile, Katrina S. Pequit, the assigned nurse of Barangay Pasig, also shared her appreciation on behalf of the community.
“In behalf of Barangay Pasig, daghang kaayong salamat SMI sa tabang nga inyong gihatag kanamo, especially sa mga medisina. Dako kaayo ni’g tabang sa mga nagpuyo diri, dili lang sa mga bata kundi sa tanan. Ang among mga kinahanglanon nga tambal naa na gyud diri ug tanan maka benepisyo. Madamo gid nga salamat,” she said.
