Tampakan, South Cotabato — A warm and grateful atmosphere filled the halls of Tampakan General Hospital as representatives from Sagittarius Mines, Inc. (SMI) handed over essential medicines and medical supplies to the hospital staff. The simple ceremony reflected a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose, with hospital personnel expressing heartfelt appreciation for the partnership that helps strengthen healthcare delivery for local residents.
This activity, held on December 19, 2025, formed part of SMI’s ongoing health support initiatives under its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), and underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing access to quality health services, especially for those who rely on public healthcare facilities.
The turnover was received by Pharmacist Cristine Dusaran, RPh, and Nurse Supervisor Edwin Tomulto, RN, who represented the hospital administration and healthcare workers. The donated medicines and medical supplies are expected to boost the hospital’s capacity to provide basic health services, particularly for patients with limited access to essential medications.
Tampakan General Hospital Pharmacist Cristine Dusaran, RPh expressed her gratitude to SMI for the continued support, noting that the assistance will greatly help ensure the availability of medicines for patients in need.
“Lubos po kaming nagpapasalamat sa Sagittarius Mines, Inc. sa kanilang ibinigay na mga gamot at medical supplies. Malaking tulong po ito sa aming ospital at sa mga pasyenteng umaasa sa serbisyong pangkalusugan ng gobyerno,” Dusaran shared.
