SMI brings free medical and dental services to Tampakan community

Tampakan, South Cotabato – The barangay local government of Pula Bato in Tampakan, South Cotabato has expressed its deepest gratitude to Sagittarius Mines, Inc. (SMI) for bringing free medical and dental services to its constituents.

Aimed at providing free and quality health services to its host community, SMI conducted the medical mission held at Barangay Pula Bato Gymnasium last October 25, 2024.

During the activity, the community availed free medical services which included dental services, medical consultations, and medicines, benefiting a total of 146 indigent residents.

“Daghang salamat sa atoang partner Sagittarius Mines, Inc. para sa medical/dental mission sa Barangay Pula Bato. Dako kaayo ning tabang para sa community,” Barangay Chairman Niel Ryan T. Escobillo said.

As one of the host barangays of the Tampakan Copper-Gold Project, Barangay Pula Bato annually receives financial assistance and social development projects from the mining company. (30)
