Kiblawan, Davao del Sur — Recognizing education as a vital foundation for sustainable development, Sagittarius Mines, Inc. (SMI) recently turned-over essential school items to around 120 Indigenous Peoples (IPs) learners of Nodilla Elementary School in Barangay Bulolsalo, Kiblawan, Davao del Sur.
The activity, held on July 17, 2025, and funded through SMI’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), provided the young learners with notebooks, writing paper, pencils, and other basic supplies. These materials are intended to support students in their studies while easing the financial burden on their families.
Parents of IP learners and school officials expressed their appreciation to SMI, noting that the timely provision of school items will motivate children to continue their studies with greater enthusiasm.
