The 16 years Partnership Day reflects the long-standing collaboration between Sagittarius Mines, Inc. (SMI) and the Malungon Local Government Unit (MLGU) in advancing community development, health, environmental protection, and livelihood programs in Malungon, Sarangani Province
During the town’s celebration of its 56th Foundation Anniversary on Sunday, July 13, 2025, Municipal Mayor Reynaldo F. “I just want to emphasize that the Tampakan Project is a government project, and SMI is its partner and I’m happy to say na it has been emphasized iyong mga zero hunger, iyong SDG 2, and the food security program, and the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition. In fact, most of our programs have been refocused now on nutrition,” Mr. Baang said.
