The position shall be responsible in ensuring all regulatory and statutory requirements for the FTAA of the Tampakan Copper-Gold Project and its components are complied with,  particularly in the aspect of tenements management and project permit requirements, done in a timely manner based on the project schedule and regulatory-prescribed timelines.

Specific Personal Accountabilities:

Sustainable Development Practices

  • Ensure effective implementation of the company’s safety and environment-friendly standard and systems within own area of responsibility to positively contribute in nurturing the company’s sustainable development culture in compliance with ISO 14001:2015 standards.

Tenement Management

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements for the FTAA;
  • Pro-actively act upon matters/concerns relative to the FTAA in coordination with relevant government regulatory agencies..
  • Ensure cooperative relationship with national and regional government regulatory agencies is nurtured.


  • Ensure  all Project permits required for the FTAA are completely complied with.
  • Secure all Project permits as required in every components of the Tampakan Copper-Gold Project.

Internal Legal Support

  • Provide internal legal support services based on the mandate of the Legal and Compliance Department

Key requirements:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Laws and Engineering Degree
  • With at least seven (7) years’ experience on mining regulatory, tenement management and permitting;
  • Experience working with the National and Local Regulatory Agencies and Local Government Units.
  • Has strong connection with Government Regulatory Agencies
  • With experience in dealing with the LGUs
  • Possesses strong negotiation skill
  • Must be results-oriented, culturally sensitive, team player, diligent and hardworking, reliable and trustworthy
  • Pro-active with leadership skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills (Tagalog, English and Visayan Language)
  • Can easily establish a good rapport and harmonious relationship to all levels of National and Regional Government Heads, Officers, personnel including those of GOCC’s, ICCs/IPs and Non-IPs
