The External Stakeholder Engagement Supervisor shall coordinate, assist and execute planned activities aimed at establishing and strengthening stakeholder relations and local engagements at the general project area and with key national, host regional and provincial stakeholders and groups, as well as addressing and managing key project-related issues and concerns in the provinces, in order to secure Project social acceptability and support the Project’s business objectives..
This is a regular role based in Polomolok, South Cotabato and will directly report to the External Stakeholder Engagement Superintendent.
Specific Personal Accountabilities:
Sustainable Development Practices – Ensure effective implementation of the project’s sustainable development standards and systems within own area of responsibility to positively contribute to nurturing the organization’s culture on sustainable development
Safety and Health - Ensure adherence to Safety & Health policies and procedures to achieve targets that are set internally.
Environment- Ensure area of responsibility does not contribute to any environment incident. Ensure minimal consumption of resources that adversely affect the environment.
Focused Engagements with Project Stakeholder Groups – Develop and implement a strategic engagement and advocacy plan focused on major stakeholders groups in Regions XI and XII in order to generate support for the Project and lead the management and resolutions of key issues and concerns in the host provinces, and Regions XI and XII.
Regular / strategic Engagements with National and Sub-National Stakeholders – Develop and implement an engagement plan with key business/industry corporate organizations/associations, NGOs, and other government agencies at the national and sub-national/regional levels, to sustain linkages and partnerships and strengthen their support to the Project
Project Issue Monitoring – Conduct regular issue monitoring and assist in resolving key issues at the national and regional/provincial levels.
