LAND ADMINISTRATION DATABASE SPECIALIST

The role shall provide administrative support in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the day-to-day records management of Land Acquisition Team particularly the administration of a management information system on lands.

This is a project employment contract based in Tampakan.

Specific Accountabilities:

  1. Sustainable Development Practices – Ensure effective use of the projects safety and environmental-friendly standards and systems within own area of responsibility to positively contribute in nurturing the organization’s sustainable development culture and compliance to ISO 140001 standards.
  1. Land Acquisition and Management– Handle records and database management of all related documents of land acquisition team for all areas that are required for the mining operation, including all related infrastructure and resettlement areas.
  1. Cost Management and Accountability – Ensure prudent and judicious use of the company’s resources without compromising the delivery of quality products and output in the most effective and efficient way.
  1. Compliance – Ensure that land acquisition within the ancestral domain is in accordance with the FPIC rules and guidelines specifically the Memorandum of Agreement with the ICCs/IPs.

Key requirements:

  • The candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of three (3 years) of experience in data administration, information technology, data base and related field focusing on Land Acquisition work
  • Has technical expertise or experience in recording, database security, back-ups, recovery and performance monitoring standards
  • Has the ability to create and maintain strong working relationship with colleagues and stakeholder
  • Trustworthy and able to keep confidential matters to the highest level and highly knowledgeable in Data Privacy Act of 2012
  • Good organizing, leadership, teamwork, and customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
