A project employment based in Tampakan, South Cotabato, this role is tasked to supervise the community development program and projects for the ICCs under the FPIC MOA.

Key responsibilities:

Sustainable Development (SD) Practices – Provides direct and visible leadership within own area of responsibility through effective use of project’s standards and systems and demonstrate compliance with the Company’s SD policies, procedures and standards in all work activities. Ensure that reporting requirements, internal and statutory, are met on time with regards to incidents and accidents.

Community Development Strategy – Ensure an effective and efficient delivery of company’s commitments as provided in DENR CDAO 2010-21, including the company’s sustainable development goals by:

- Developing Standard Operating Procedure Manual for FPIC MOA deliverables,

- Providing support on activities related to planning, monitoring and evaluation of community based on the approved ASDMP and CSR programs of the company, and

- Providing technical assistance to the ICCs in the preparation of project proposals, training design and project completion report.

Monitoring and Evaluation – Ensure monitoring and evaluation system is in place and complied in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting and Communication – Delivery of accurate and timely feedbacks and reports for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports as required by authorities.

Team Membership – Demonstrate active support to team’s goal and participate in achieving a performance driven culture within the team and department.

Cost Management – Prudent and responsible cost management within the area of responsibility.

Key requirements:

  • Graduate of any 4 years course preferably Economics or Community Development related courses.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in the field of rural development, adequate skills on TNA, Strategic, Planning and Organizational Development, Business Plan Preparation and Proposal Writing, Policy Systems and Procedures Formulation and Manualization                           
  • Strong organization and planning skills; coordination, communication, negotiation and advocacy skills; with established government networks. Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint application.
  • Demonstrated competencies in planning, organizing, coordination; strong in training and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent in written and oral communications. Ability to converse in Visayan or other local languages is preferred.
  • High level of awareness in health, safety, environment and stakeholder engagement practices and standards
  • Proficient in MS Office application
  • Knowledgeable in training preparation, training design, training needs analysis, matrix preparation, implementation and evaluation process.
